Todays Market Updates – 16/04/2026 : Because of the hope of restart of peace talks between US and Israel but still agenda not clear there was negative sentiments seen in the market as a result there is a decrease and market closed today with a decrease of 122.56 points at 77988.68 and the Nifty closed with a decrease of 34.55 points at 24196.75. In today’s trading also , geopolitical tension across the border was seen, the prices of Crude oil have gone up by 100 dollars per barrel since the Strait of Hormuz is not open yet and are more likely the situation is not much clear but if it goes up the risk of inflation will increase. Today the share price of Metal and IT saw gains while Banking and Auto sectors saw the most significant losses.
Today, a increase was seen in the Asian Markets also, Japan Nikkei closed with a increase of 2.38% of 1384.10 points at 59518.34 points , while Chinese markets Shanghai Composite Index closed today with a increase of 0.70% of 28.34 points at 4055.55 , the South Koreas kospi Index increased by 2.21% by 134.66 points and closed at 6226.05 points and Hangseng Index of Hongkong was closed today with a increase of 1.72% by 446.94 points at 26394.26 points.The American markets on 15th April 2026 closed with a decline , Dow Jones decreased by 0.15% by 72.27 points and closed at 48463.72 points whereas S&P 500 index increased by 0.80% by 55.37 points and closed at 7022.95 points
