MPBSE Class 10, 12th results 2026: State CM Dr Mohan Yadav announces scores, girls excel as MP logs best performance in 16 yrs

MPBSE 10th 12th result 2026: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) declared the MPBSE Class 10th and 12th results on Wednesday. MP Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav announced the results during an event held at his official residence in the state capital, Bhopal.

State registers record-breaking performance in 16 yrs

Notably, the Class 12 results for this year have been described as the best in the past 16 years, as the state’s intermediate students logged a pass percentage of 76.01%. CM Dr Yadav congratulated students and underscored that the government schools have outperformed the private ones, reflecting significant improvements in the public education system. 

MPBSE 10th 12th result 2026: Girls’ performance eclipses that of boys

Continuing the academic excellence trend, girls of the state have yet again outperformed the boys. The female students posted a pass percentage of 79.41%, compared to 72.39% recorded by the male students. In the merit list too, the girls topped the chart, reinforcing their strong academic presence across the state.

Khushi Rai and Chandni Vishwakarma from Bhopal shared the topmost position in the MPBSE Class 12 exams, scoring 494 out of 500 marks. Meanwhile, Pratibha Solanki from Panna district emerged as the state topper in the MPBSE Class 10 exams, scoring 499 out of 500. Amay Gupta and Akshara Choudhary took the second spot with 498 marks, followed by seven students who shared the third position with 497 marks. 

MP School Education Minister terms results ‘foolproof’

After the declaration of the results, MP’s School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh termed them ‘foolproof,’ attributing the success to careful administration, rural outreach programmes and enhanced academic support systems. 

No student placed in supplementary category in 2026

It is also noteworthy that this year, no student was placed in the supplementary category, although 1.99 lakh students were declared not qualified in the exams. Under the New Education Policy, a ‘Second Chance Exam’ shall be conducted from May 7, 2026, offering students a golden opportunity to improve their scores. Meanwhile, a dedicated helpline number (18002330175) has also been launched for students’ support.

The MPBSE Class 10 and 12 exams were conducted between February 10 and March 7, 2026, with close to 6.89 lakh students taking them. Students who took the exams can access their scorecards on the official websites mpbse.nic.in and mpbse.mponline.gov.in, or via Digilocker, by entering credentials such as roll number and application number.
