Central BJP’s role

The BJP has appointed former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan as the party’s observer for Bihar to oversee the smooth transition and the swearing‑in ceremony.
Observers see this move as a signal that the central leadership wants to closely manage Bihar’s power shift, especially ahead of upcoming state and national elections.
