Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2026: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) on Thursday announced the Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2026 for lakhs of students awaiting their Class 12 scores. The students across the state logged a pass percentage of 84%, and the girls yet again outperformed the boys. Notably, the results had to be delayed for a while owing to election-related restrictions.

Science stream tops
The board’s girls secured a pass percentage of 88.70%, up from last year’s 77.88%, while boys posted 83.65%, also improving from 68.20% in the year 2025. Among streams, Science took the top spot with a pass rate exceeding 90%. It was followed by Commerce (80%), while Arts saw a pass percentage of 75%. As many as 7,10,363 students from 5,174 pre-university colleges had taken the exam, conducted across 1,217 centres between February 18 and March 17, 2026.
Additionally, reports claimed that the students who took the exam from rural areas outperformed their urban counterparts.
409 schools see cent-per cent pass rate
Notably, 409 schools of the state reported a 100% pass rate, indicating that every student from these institutions was declared qualified in the exam. Stream-wise participation included 2,92,645 students in Science, 2,11,174 in Commerce and 1,42,982 in Arts.

Students can access their scorecards through the officials results portal by following the steps below:
- Visit the official website of the board
- Click on the link that reads “PUC II Result 2026”
- Enter your registration number and select your stream
- Submit the details
- Check the scorecard and download it for future references
The results had been deferred due to the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during ongoing elections in the state. Authorities said that prior approval was required from the Election Commission before releasing the results, leading to the delay.
