Share market update 8 april 2026: After the announcement of 2 weeks ceasefire the Stock market has closed today with a increase of
509.73 points at 74616.58 and the Nifty closed with a increase of 155.40 points at 23123.65. In today’s trading also , geopolitical tension across the border was seen, the prices of Crude oil have gone down to 95 dollars per barrel and are more likely the situation is not much clear but if it goes up the risk of inflation will increase.
Today the share price of Auto, Banking l and Realty secto8rs saw the most significant gains.
Today, a increase was seen in the Asian Markets also, Japan Nikkei closed with increase of 2.88% at of 2878.86 points at 56308.42 points , while Chinese markets Shanghai Composite Index closed today with a increase of 2.96% points 104.83 points at 3995.00 , the South Koreas kospi Index increased by 6.87% 377.56 points and closed at 5872.34 points and Hangseng Index of Hongkong was closed today with a
increase of 3.09% 776.49 points at 25893.02 points.The American markets on 7th April 2026 closed with a decrease , Dow Jones decreased by 0.18% by 85.42 points and closed at 46584.46 points whereas S&P 500 index increased by 0.08% by 05 points and closed at 6616.85 points.
