Dhurandhar 2 box office: Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar 2, a high-octane spy thriller, continued its box office dominance on the second day of its theatrical release and stormed past the Rs 200 crore mark. The Aditya Dhar directorial has been rewriting record books and is setting new benchmarks for Indian cinema.
Notably, the film had a phenomenal opening day haul of Rs 145 crore on Thursday, and it maintained its blistering pace even on Friday, defying the weekday slowdown.

Domestic earnings stand at Rs 218 crore
According to early estimates, the film grossed Rs 73 crore net in India by 8 pm on Friday, pushing its domestic earning to a whopping Rs 218 crore. The thriller had already minted Rs 43 crore through paid previews on Wednesday.
Despite the conclusion of festivals like Ugadi and Gudi Padwa across the country on Friday, the film sealed a solid 56% occupancy in the morning and noon shows, which is considered a remarkable figure for a weekday. The trade analysts expect the evening and night shows to propel the collections beyond Rs 220 crore.
Dhurandhar 2 outpaces big-ticket releases
Within just two days, Dhurandhar 2 surpassed the lifetime domestic collections of Sikandar and The RajaSaab. While Salman Khan-starrer Sikandar earned Rs 145 crore, The RajaSaab, featuring Telugu star Prabhas ended at Rs 147 crore.
Dhurandhar 2 box office: Film opens to 14k shows nationwide
The film boasts as many as 14,000 shows nationwide and strong occupancy across both urban centres as well as mass circuits. Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film features R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt and Rakesh Bedi in prominent roles. The film’s prequel, Dhurandhar, a December 2025 release, had raked in Rs 1,300 crore globally.

Meanwhile, a plethora of celebrities from both Bollywood as well as South Indian film industry watched the film, and rained praises on both the cast and the film-makers. Among the ones who lauded the film were Telugu actor Ram Charan Teja, TV actress Munmun Datta and filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma.
