MP CM Dr Yadav participates in ‘Investment Session’ in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara, underlines central state’s growth story

MP CM Dr Yadav Bhilwara visit: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav reached Rajasthan’s Bhilwara on Wednesday to participate in “Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.” At the event, he called upon the industrialists to partner with MP’s rapid growth journey.

On the occasion, the president of the Mewar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Anil Mishra accorded him a warm welcome, and presented a Mewari turban, along with angavastram (clothes) and bouquet to him.

The Chief Minister, in his address, outlined Madhya Pradesh’s investment potential, its industry-friendly policies and simplified industrial procedures. Thereafter, he invited the business owners to explore emerging opportunities across sectors in Madhya Pradesh.

CM Dr Yadav termed Madhya Pradesh as one of the fastest growing states. He opined that investing in Madhya Pradesh will prove fruitful in every walk. He also urged the entrepreneurs in attendance on the occasion to connect with the state, which is fondly called the ‘Heart of India.’

The Chief Minister then welcomed the Rajasthan-based investors to the land of diamonds and underscored the centuries-old cultural ties between MP and Rajasthan. He further referred to Bhilwara’s rich textile legacy and said that MP seeks a long-term partnership with Rajasthan to explore shared growth avenues.

CM Dr Yadav expresses desire to work with Rajasthan CM

Reflecting on the historical business ties between MP and Rajasthan, CM Dr Yadav recalled that Ghanshyam Das Birla had laid Grasim Industries limited in the Nagda town of MP’s Ujjain district. Thereafter, he informed that the country’s first and largest PM MITRA Park textile project is in the pipeline in Madhya Pradesh. Continuing his statements, he expressed his desire to work jointly with Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma to expand the textile sector collaboration.

18 new industry-friendly policies implemented in MP

While concluding his address, CM Dr Yadav said that 18 new industry-friendly policies have already been set in motion in MP. “A vast land bank, availability of colossal amounts of water, skilled workers, strong logistics and transparent administration create a favourable and robust ecosystem for investors,” he added.

Secretary of Mewar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, RK Jain said that Bhilwara has globally emerged as a textile city, and has been working with the MP government since 2020.
