As per statistics, the Dhurandhar sequel grossed an impressive Rs 44 crore from paid previews alone. Early estimates suggest that it added another Rs 60-70 crore on its first full day, steering it comfortably towards the Rs 100 crore milestone. The first instalment of the franchise had minted Rs 1300 crore globally, and since then, the buzz surrounding the film had been brewing for months. The sequel, despite suffering minor glitches, managed to seal the biggest worldwide Bollywood opening through advance bookings alone.
Project backed by Jio Studios, boasts star-studded cast

The film sees the return of an ensemble cast including Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt, with Ranveer reprising his role as Jaskirat Singh Rangi alias Hamza Ali Mazari. The project is backed by Jio Studios and B62 studios, and sees a cameo by actress Yami Gautam.
