MP CM in Harda: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav on Wednesday attended a state-level Kisan Sammelan in Harda. During his address, he reaffirmed that prosperous farmers are central to Madhya Pradesh’s identity.
CM Dr Yadav lays focus on agricultural growth and modernisation
The Kisan Sammelan was organised at the Nehru stadium in Harda, which witnessed significant announcements aimed at ramping up farmers’ income and promoting modern agricultural practices. He emphasised the importance of agriculture-based skill development and the expansion of custom hiring centres to improve access to modem farming equipment.

The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for multiple development projects worth several crores, holding the goal to strengthen agricultural infrastructure and enhance productivity across the region.
Govt provides financial support to women every month: CM
CM Dr Yadav, in his speech, also underlined the state government’s commitment to women’s welfare. Drawing a symbolic comparison, he said that while festivals such as Bhaidooj and Rakshabandhan are celebrated annually, the government ensures that women receive financial support every month. He also criticised the opposition leaders for questioning welfare schemes crafted for women.

CM lauds Harda for progress in irrigated farming
CM Dr Yadav, towards the end of his speech, lauded Harda for achieving remarkable progress, particularly in the direction of irrigated farming. He said that the district has reached full irrigation capacity, and emerges as an example for agricultural advancement in the state.
Projects valued at Rs 230 crore announced
On the occasion, CM Dr Yadav inaugurated projects worth Rs 199 crore, and also launched additional works exceeding Rs 32 crore. He then flagged off an ‘agriculture rath’ and also took stock of an exhibition showcasing advanced farming tools and agricultural products, reinforcing the state’s focus on innovation in agriculture.
