CM Yadav meets PM Modi: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav on Monday met Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi during his visit to the national capital. Both the leaders discussed several important issues pertaining to the development of the state and future initiatives. 

CM Dr Yadav briefs PM about development works in MP

In the meeting, CM Dr Yadav briefed PM Modi about the development works underway in the state and shared updates on government schemes being implemented across the state. He also apprised PM Modi of upcoming initiatives and administrative plans scheduled for the near future. 

According to political observers, the meeting could hold several implications for several key policy decisions concerning Madhya Pradesh.

Sources privy to the meeting said that the discussions also covered the recently-chaired agriculture cabinet meeting in MP and innovative initiatives for farmers’ benefits. CM Dr Yadav highlighted steps being taken by his government to strengthen the agrarian sector and improve farmers’ welfare. 

Apart from developmental issues, both the leaders are also believed to have discussed recent political developments across Madhya Pradesh, where dialogues regarding the organisational and administrative expansion have been going on for a long time.

MP CM earlier met Union Home Minister Shah

Prior to meeting PM Modi, CM Dr Yadav also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit to Delhi. Additionally, CM Dr Yadav, along with Madhya Pradesh BJP President Hemant Khandelwal, had also met BJP’s national president Nitin Nabin. The meetings have been chaired at a time when several appointments to state-run corporations and boards, alongside important recruitments, are yet to be finalised in MP. Notably, decisions regarding these appointments have been pending for some time. According to political circles, announcements regarding these posts and administrative appointments may be made in the upcoming days, thus, CM Dr Yadav’s meeting with PM Modi is being viewed as an important one.
